1. How long have you been in business?
Navit Software Solutions was founded in 2000. Since 2000, we have leveraged the internet to provide India-based offshore development services to organizations worldwide.



2. Where are you located in India?
Navit Software Solutions has its Offshore Development Center in the Great city of Hyderabad in Southern India. Hyderabad is the Capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad is well-connected to the world with an international airport and is World renowned for its technically qualified personnel.

6. Do you take fixed price contracts?
Yes. A fair number of our projects are fixed price contracts whereby the client is protected from cost escalations.

We also work on per-hour basis and also have a unique Dedicated Development Center on offer for your immediate requirement.



7. What are your payment terms?
For Fixed Price Contracts:
Advance: 25%
Early-Proof of Concept: 25%
Beta Release – 15%
At Sign Off: 35%

For time-and-material projects and Dedicated Development Centers
Fortnightly/ Monthly

We also agree to Milestone-based payment schedules on our Fixed Price projects.

The above listed are all typical models, actual agreements may differ based on client specifics and requirements.

8. How do we pay you?
We accept cheques and wire transfers based on your convenience.



9. Are there taxes involved?
As it stands now, there are no taxes involved.



10. What's the minimum size of projects you undertake?
We take all sizes of projects once we are committed to a client.



11. What are your rates?
Our rates range from USD 15-25/hour depending upon skills required, time-line, project nature etc.



12. Your rates are low! Is there a catch somewhere?
We can offer these rates because we operate from India, where the living costs are far lower than most of the Western economies. India has an abundance of highly qualified software engineers and architects experienced in providing development services to the international market. Both these factors make our rates viable and practical.



13. Are your people certified?
Our people are certified in relevant Sun, Microsoft and IBM Technologies.



14. How do you ensure quality?
We have processes in place to ensure that quality is maintained at every single step of the development process. These processes are derived from industry standard practices and have been fine-tuned to meet the unique requirements of remote development.



15. Can you provide references?
Yes. We can provide both Client as well as work references.
16. Where is the Decision making authority located?
Navit Software Solutions decision-making authority is located closer to the client.
Executive management based in the US.
Client partners assigned to clients are accountable and empowered to quickly make all key decisions.
Practice heads, CTO, etc. are in US and highly accessible to clients. · Many clients very favorably comment on Navit Software Solutions ’s responsiveness, and speed of decision making.
 

17. How do you assure confidentiality?
We sign NDAs and Confidentiality agreements with our clients.



18. How do we keep abreast of the progress of the project?
A regular Project Status Report will be sent to you by email.
Over and above that, regular web meetings and teleconferences are held.
The developed code is replicated/updated to your servers at regular intervals. This way, you get to review the progress of work even on a daily basis.
Our Project Managers and Customer Relationship Managers are available to you on a 24X7 basis.



19. Do you provide post-implementation support?
Yes, we provide 8 months' free post-implementation support for all our development. Further support is also available at a charge.


20. We are planning a product, can we co-develop with you?
Yes.



21. Can you set up an exclusive development team for us in India?
If you expect a steady flow of work using consistent programming languages and operating systems, it may be ideal to have Navit Software Solutions set up an offshore team dedicated exclusively to your company.

These contracts are generally for a period of 1 year or more.



22. Can we visit your facility?
Most welcome. Visiting our facility will provide you a first-hand experience of our place, our people and our infrastructure.
